In case you didn’t know…

After the Royal Rumble, it seems as though Seth Rollins suffered an injury. Thankfully, it’s a minor one and it will likely keep him out for just around a month or so. This is naturally good news for WWE, as he’s one of the superstars who’s likely going to get a grand coronation at WrestleMania 35.

This week on RAW, Kurt Angle came out to make an announcement about his future in WWE. While he teased a retirement, he ended up being interrupted by Corbin and McIntyre. Braun Strowman came to his rescue and he teamed up with The Monster Among Men in the main event of RAW.

The match ended in a DQ loss for the babyfaces, but they stood tall at the end of RAW nevertheless.

The heart of the matter

According to Dave Meltzer, Seth Rollins was originally set to take Angle’s spot in teaming with Strowman (H/T Ringside News):

It seems as though Rollins & Strowman were both set to team up for Elimination Chamber. However, Rollins also has a potential feud with Bobby Lashley waiting for him as well. It’s going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.

What’s next?

Ultimately, everything depends on when Rollins is cleared, but it’s a safe bet that we won’t be seeing him wrestle at Elimination Chamber. Fastlane is likely a lock.

The main thing is that Seth Rollins will be cleared on time for WrestleMania. He is in the money match, after all.
