Braun Strowman recently re-signed with the company and is now committed to WWE for the next four years.
Dave Meltzer opened up on WWE’s contractual dealings with its talents on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Strowman has inked a four-year deal that would see ‘The Monster Among Men’ take home $1.2 Million per year. It was also added that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson signed a $700,000 per year deal after each initially turned down a $500,000 per year offer.
AJ Styles also renewed his contract with WWE and was offered a much better deal with AEW lurking on the horizon. With AEW throwing around a lot of money, the threshold for top-tier talents has been increased to $1 Million per year in WWE.
Here’s what Meltzer wrote in the WON:
Braun Strowman was recently involved in a Universal Title program with Seth Rollins. He was most recently taken out by The Fiend on RAW and has yet to be inserted into a proper feud on TV.
Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon are both behind Strowman, who has been given assurances about his importance to the company. It appears that ‘The Monster Among Men’ is in a good spot, both financially and creatively.
