In today’s WWE Rumor Roundup, we take a look at Paige’s rant against WWE as the company starts taking over Superstar’s Twitch accounts, what Vince McMahon asked The New Day to stop doing, and more.

Before we get to that, let us take a look at the top headline-makers of the day:

#5 Real reason why WWE took the MITB contract away from Otis

WWE Universe was stunned when Otis won the Money In The Bank contract earlier this year. Fans wondered if it was the right decision, but the big question always remained about how he would cash it in.

With options diminishing almost every week, WWE finally decided to take the contract away from Otis and hand it to The Miz.

Dave Meltzer noted on the recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the plan had more to do with Tucker turning heel. He reports that WWE understood that Otis failing to win the title off Roman Reigns would do him no good, and there was no plan for him to beat the Universal Champion as well. He noted:

The Miz is now expected to cash in the contract on Randy Orton soon. The Viper won the WWE Championship at WWE Hell In A Cell last Sunday after beating Drew McIntyre.

#4 Vince McMahon’s ‘distasteful idea’ rejected on WWE RAW

Vince McMahon wanted Reckoning to mimic having a seizure on Monday Night RAW this week. The former WWE NXT Superstar was at ringside as RETRIBUTION took on The Hurt Business.

Reckoning acted as though she was possessed to help her team eliminate MVP during the match. However, Fightful now report that Vince McMahon wanted it to be a seizure, but she and others rejected it. The report read:

Reckoning confirmed that she had not faked a seizure on WWE RAW. She added that she would never fake a medical condition and it was just a ‘possession’ that was enacted on the show.

#3 No plan to feed WWE legends to Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is expected to remain as the WWE Universal Champion for a long time, and WWE has many matches to put together for him. The Rock vs Reigns at WrestleMania 37 has been mentioned multiple times, but two more WWE legends have been linked to face The Tribal Cheif.

John Cena and Goldberg were rumored to be possible opponents for Roman Reigns, but Dave Meltzer has rebuffed such speculation. He reports that the two WWE legends could face Reigns later on, but they are not in the immediate plans.

Goldberg was supposed to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36, but The Tribal Cheif took time off from WWE because of the Coronavirus. He also had his twins on the way and did not want to put his family at risk.

The match with Goldberg still remains for Roman Reigns, and it could take place during his reign as the WWE Universal Champion.

As for John Cena, he is still chasing that record 17th WWE title win and who better to win it against than Roman Reigns.

#2 Paige blasts WWE in angry rant over Twitch account

WWE have asked their Superstars to end deals with all third-party platforms, and Twitch was among those on the list. Several Superstars, including AJ Styles and Mia Yim, were forced to shut down their streams by the company.

Paige is reportedly one of the Superstars who will be forced to shut down her stream, and she was not happy about it. She went on a rant last night and blasted the company and said she broke her neck twice for them. She said:

WWE gave the Superstars just a month’s notice to end all their deals and the 30-day notice was issued earlier this month.

#1 Vince McMahon asked The New Day to stop throwing things at the WWE commentary desk

Big E was talking to Corey Graves on the After The Bell podcast when he revealed that The New Day were asked to stop throwing things at the WWE commentary desk. The faction used to throw objects at Graves and Michael Cole, but the WWE Chairman asked them not to do it.

However, Big E reveals that he would listen for about a month before getting back to throwing things. He claims that Vince McMahon usually forgets what he had commanded and that loophole was used by The New Day. He said:

The New Day were split in the WWE Draft this month with Big E staying on SmackDown while Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods moved to Monday Night RAW.
