There has been a lot of big rumors and news breaking today, and we have a solid lineup for you, ranging from the reason behind Current Champion’s unhappiness with the company to Vince McMahon wanting to ax the push of a young Superstar.

#6 Vince McMahon has given up on Cedric Alexander

Soon after the Cedric Alexander made his way to the RAW roster there was huge talk of him being a Paul Heyman favorite and a major push was expected for the former Cruiserweight Champion - which did happen albeit for a brief period.

After a long-running program with then US Champion AJ Styles, it looked like Alexander was all set to be a major face on the RAW brand, but unfortunately, things did not exactly pan out that way for the former ROH Superstar.

WrestlingNews.co have reported that Vince McMahon has cooled down on Cedric Alexander to the point of giving up on him. His match against Mojo Rawley on the most recent episode of Main Event corroborates that as Alexander was seen doing the job to Mojo Rawley - who isn’t exactly relevant himself.

Cedric Alexander is a highly talented athlete and it is rather sad that the Chairman of WWE has already decided to ‘bury’ the young Superstar. With RAW having an immense roster full of young up and comers, it will be difficult for Cedric Alexander to bounce back.

#5 WWE will not bring Dio Maddin back as a commentator on RAW

As announced on WWE Backstage, Samoa Joe will continue to remain a part of the RAW commentary team as the replacement of Dio Maddin. Maddin has been out of action ever since Brock Lesnar ‘injured’ him on an episode of RAW by F-5ing him through the table.

It is being reported by WrestlingNews.co that the company is not planning on bringing Maddin back for the commentary role and the Superstar would much rather rejoin WWE as a competitor.

Maddin has also tweeted that he wishes to ‘retire’ Brock Lesnar, giving a clear indication that he wishes to return not as an announcer but a Superstar.

#4 John Morrison re-signs with WWE

Former Intercontinental Champion John Morrison is all set to return to WWE after a gap of 8 years. As announced on WWE Backstage, the former Tag Team Champion has signed a multi-year deal with the company.

Morrison has achieved a great deal of success in his time absent from WWE, winning major Championships such as the Lucha Underground Championship as well as Impact Wrestling World Championship.

It will be interesting to see what WWE have in store for ‘Johnny Mundo’ and which brand he makes his return on.

#3 Bobby Lashley injured

Wrestling Observer has reported that The Almighty Bobby Lashley might have suffered a legitimate arm injury. This couldn’t have come at a worse time as Lashley is currently involved in a bitter feud against Rusev.

The two men have been locking horns since Lashley started ‘dating’ Rusev’s wife Lana leading to a rather edgy storyline on RAW.

What will the comoany do to prolong the feud in case Lashley’s injury turns out to be serious? Only time will tell.

#2 Big E unhappy with WWE’s decision

While speaking to Corey Graves on After the Bell podcast current SmackDown Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Big E revealed how they felt about the company’s decision to take the WWE Championship off Kofi Kingston on the first episode of SmackDown on FOX and put it on Brock Lesnar.

While Kofi Kingston stated that he understood the booking decision, Big E revealed that he was ‘irate’ when he found out the fashion in which Kofi Kingston lost the Championship in a matter of minutes.

#1 Daniel Bryan was responsible for Kofi Kingston getting a WWE title match at WrestleMania

Kofi Kingston finally won the WWE Championship for the first time ever at WrestleMania 35 by defeating Daniel Bryan at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Interestingly, it was Bryan himself who was crucial in Kingston getting this opportunity in the first place.

The SmackDown Tag Team Champion revealed on After the Bell that WWE’s original plan was to have Daniel Bryan face off Kevin Owens at the show, but given the popularity of LofiMania at the time, Daniel Bryan requested a match against Kingston.
