There is also some backstage news on Bray Wyatt’s opinion about his brother, Bo Dallas, and even Vince McMahon’s thoughts on Zelina Vega as she is set to get her singles push now.

We kick things off with the headline-makers of the day:

Ivar undergoes neck surgery

Ivar of The Viking Raiders injured himself during Monday Night RAW last week and has now undergone neck surgery. The injury is reportedly worse than first feared, but the good news is that it was a successful one.

WWE are yet to update the RAW Superstar, but PWInsider.com report that the surgery took place in Birmingham, Alabama, this week. They add that there is no timeline for his return, and the recovery will not be short.

Update on Ricochet’s WWE future

Last week, WrestleVotes reported that one WWE Superstar has decided not to sign a new deal with the company when their current contract expires. They did not reveal the name of the Superstar but an update on the same from SoDuTW yesterday saw Ricochet’s name come up.

They claimed that the Monday Night RAW Superstar was the one who had decided not to re-sign with the company.

However, Ricochet himself rebuffed these rumors on Twitter. He posted a video from The Wolf Of Wall Street movie and said that he was not leaving.

He added that the ‘dirt sheets’ need to check facts before posting such rumors in the future.

Brock Lesnar’s reaction to Paul Heyman teaming up with Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown

Paul Heyman has said that Brock Lesnar is very much aware of working with Roman Reigns on SmackDown. The Advocate of the former WWE Champion said it in an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated.

Paul Heyman has become the on-screen manager of Roman Reigns on SmackDown. He made his return at SummerSlam last month and managed to win the title within a week of his return at WWE Payback. He defeated the then champion ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman, to win the title he never lost.

Bray Wyatt’s opinion about his brother Bo Dallas in WWE

Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas are brothers in real life, and there is still a large section of the WWE Universe that does not know about it. The two have had very different paths in WWE, but they have held individual titles at some point.

While Bo Dallas has managed to win the NXT title and the tag-team titles, Bray Wyatt has gone one to become the WWE Champion multiple times. Now, their father and former WWE Superstar, IRS, has some interesting backstage news on the two bothers.

On the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, he claimed that Bo is the ‘better worker’ among the brothers, and Bray Wyatt too agrees to that. He said:

Bray Wyatt was in the title picture last month and is set to become Roman Reigns’ next big opponent soon. Bo Dallas is away from in-ring action, and there is no update on his return.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon sees Zelina Vega as the next Stephanie McMahon

Zelina Vega has revealed that Vince McMahon was full of praises for her in a recent meeting. She added that the WWE Chairman even compared her to his own daughter Stephanie McMahon.

While talking on D-Von Dudley’s recent Table Talk podcast, she said:

Zelina Vega slapped Asuka after her title defence against Mickie James this past week on Monday Night RAW and could be in line for a singles push. WWE Clash of Champions takes place this month and Vega could be the one challenging Asuka for the title.

Finn Balor wants two WWE Superstars to reform The Bullet Club

During an interview with ViBe & Wrestling, Finn Balor was asked about the possibility of forming The Bullet Club in WWE. The newly-crowned NXT champion hinted that he would have loved to start it with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

Balor added that if he had to pick from the current WWE Superstars, he would be AJ Styles and Adam Cole. Balor said:

All three were a part of The Buttle Club at one point or the other and the possibility of BC reforming in some shape in the WWE was always in the rumor mills. If WWE ever want to revisit that idea in the future, they need to look no further than Balor, Styles, and Cole.
