#5 Jerry Lawler talks on Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman going off-script

Paul Heyman made a major announcement on behalf of Brock Lesnar this week on RAW, saying that The Beast will be taking part in this year’s Royal Rumble match despite being the WWE Champion. Not just that, Lesnar will be entering at the number one position in the match.

Rumors have suggested that WWE is planning a WrestleMania match between Lesnar and whoever eliminates the WWE Champion from the Royal Rumble match, even though there is no word yet as to who that Superstar might be.

#4 Samoa Joe recalls being involved in a real-life fight

While speaking to Corey Graves on After the Bell podcast, Samoa Joe recalled an incident where he chased down and fought a person who had hit him from behind while he was playing poker with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels.

Joe revealed that he believed this person was trying to rob them of the money on the table and even the ‘voice of reason’ AJ Styles told Joe to go after this person.

#3 Unfortunate news for Humberto Carrillo

The master of 619 lost his United States Championship to Andrade at a WWE Live event show in an unexpected fashion. However, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Andrade winning the US Championship was always part of the plan.

However, it wasn’t Rey Mysterio who was supposed to feud with Andrade after he won the title. In fact, the feud was set for Humberto Carrillo and Andrade, which was later changed to a program between Mysterio and El Idolo.

Humberto Carrillo has been out of action ever since Andrade took him out during the gauntlet match for the US Championship number one contender on RAW. Do you think Rey Mysterio will become the next US Champion?

#2 Attempts being made by WWE to retain The Revival

There have been a lot of rumors flying around as of late that Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder will be leaving WWE once their contracts with the company are over. The two have insinuated that they are not happy with WWE and some reports even stated that Vince McMahon doesn’t see anything special in them.

It was almost a given that The Revival will be joining AEW once they leave as they were being turned into a comedy act on SmackDown. However, Fightful.com has reported that WWE is allegedly ’throwing everything’ at the former Tag Team Champions to convince them to stay.

SportsKeeda’s Tom Colohue had also stated that WWE is confident that The Revival will not be quitting. He also stated that WWE isn’t afraid of interest from AEW either.

#1 Update on Nia Jax’s return

While there has been a lot of speculation on a possible return by Nia Jax at the Royal Rumble, unfortunately, that might not be the case. Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue has reported that even though she is recording some documentary stuff for the WWE, her return will not be happening at the Royal Rumble.

Nia Jax was part of, not one but two Royal Rumbles last year and her absence at the PPV will surely be noticed by the fans.
