On today’s edition, we will talk about The New Day’s backstage fight with Sheamus and his fellow League of Nations members which broke out after their match at WrestleMania 32. We will also take a look at a former 6-time World Champion finally announcing his retirement from active competition, among other stories.

So without further ado, let us jump into it:

#5 Details regarding a backstage fight between New Day and the League of Nations

Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E recently spoke about a backstage scuffle between The New Day and the faction known as League of Nations during WrestleMania 32 while speaking on New Day’s podcast.

WrestleMania 32 saw The New Day compete in a 6-man tag team match against Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and Rusev, with LON picking up the win. However, as revealed by Woods and Big E, there were some major arguments between the two teams and Big E stated that it was ‘another level of mad’.

Kofi Kingston explained that unlike The New Day who look out for each other, members of LON were more focused on making themselves, instead of their faction members, look good.

#4 Kevin Nash announces retirement

Kevin Nash, also known as Diesel to older WWE fans, has officially announced his retirement from pro-wrestling. Big Daddy Cool is a former 5-time WCW World Champion and also held the WWE Championship once.

Nash is famous for his stint as the founding member of popular WCW faction nWo as well as his close friendship with Triple H and Shawn Michaels behind the scenes. The three friends along with Scott Hall and X-Pac referred to themselves as the Kliq.

The 60-year-old last wrestled for WWE in 2014 as part of the Royal Rumble but has continued to perform for various other promotions. The two-time Hall of Famer has now officially called it quits and will not be competing in matches, WWE or otherwise.

It is commendable that Nash had continued to wrestle even at the age of 60, and even though he may not wrestle any longer, we certainly hope that he continues to make appearances for WWE every now and again.

#3 Stephanie McMahon made a major change to Drew McIntyre’s name

Drew McIntyre was featured on WWE’s Breaking It Down and talked about a rather interesting backstage incident that took place right ahead of his debut in 2007.

The Scottish Psychopath revealed that his original name in WWE was Drew Galloway which was changed just minutes prior to his on-screen debut by Stephanie McMahon.

While he has used his real name while competing for promotions such as Impact Wrestling, he has come to be known as Drew McIntyre by WWE fans all across the globe - all thanks to Stephanie McMahon.

#2 Drew McIntyre may turn babyface

Drew McIntyre has been stuck in limbo ever since he made his move to the main roster. While McIntyre has been protected and shown to be a dominant force, he is yet to break the glass ceiling and reach main-event status.

Although McIntyre is a heel on RAW, there has been speculation that he may be turning face soon. Wade Keller of PWTorch has stated that he feels Paul Heyman may be the one behind McIntyre’s change in character.

#1 Vince McMahon made a special effort to watch Lana/Lashley wedding segment

It is no secret that The Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon is a huge fan of the ongoing storyline between Lana, Bobby Lashley and Rusev - which now also involves Liv Morgan.

However, it is interesting to note that McMahon is truly invested in the angle as he reportedly made a special effort to arrive at the show just to watch the final angle of RAW.

Triple H and Vince McMahon were not at the venue, but Jerry Lawler revealed why Vince made it a point to arrive before the show started:
