WWE reacted immediately to the racial slurs by removing the Hulkster from their website and erased his legacy from the company’s history books. His merchandise sales have ceased and he has also been removed as judge of WWE Tough Enough show.
And WWE has followed it up with their official statement to Jimmy Traina of FOX Sports on the matter:
On WWE taking action against the Hulkster, PWInsider reports that they contacted most of their licensees and partners this morning to inform them that all references to Hulk Hogan and all images of him for current or planned licensing projects must be dropped immediately.
WWE has nixed or is in the process of nixing everything from action figures to streaming music that was related to Hogan under the WWE umbrella.
