Amongst all the surprises that came along with KO’s comeback, the Stunner he used during the tag team match was inarguably the biggest shocker of the night. In case you didn’t know… This week’s episode of SmackDown was built around the contract signing for the WWE Championship match between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan for Fastlane 2019....

We saw quite a few Superstars move from one brand to another, but now we could see a SmackDown Superstar move down to NXT. In case you didn’t know… Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson moved over to RAW this week, reuniting with AJ Styles, while we also saw the Singh Brothers move to 205 Live. It’s uncommon to see Superstars move from the main roster, i.e. RAW or SmackDown Live, to NXT....

In case you didn’t know… The Undertaker has been busy lately, taking part in events and also appearing in a video in a singer, Bad Bunny’s video. Also Read: WWE Rumors: Vince McMahon unhappy with The Undertaker He is also set to be a part of Starrcast, a wrestling convention, which will see the likes of Chris Jericho, Young Bucks, and other AEW stars participate in. The heart of the matter Recent reports have suggested that Vince McMahon is unhappy that The Undertaker will be a part of Starrcast, considering it will host the rivals of WWE, All Elite Wrestling....

WWE blamed it on a forklift driver, with many speculating several Superstars’ names to be the culprit. One of them was Daniel Bryan, and now there comes speculation that Daniel Bryan and another mystery person may be behind the forklift incident. In case you didn’t know… Reigns was once again attacked by a mystery Superstar this past week on RAW - possibly the same Superstar who attacked him last week on SmackDown Live....

In case you missed it . . . The Hart Foundation was one of the best tag teams in the world in the late 1980s and the early 1990s. They did disband in the early 1990s and Bret Hart would go on to be one of the best wrestlers ever. Neidhart would bounce around with numerous gimmicks but never reached the level of success as a singles star that Hart did....

The confusing end for the Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt match was not the only thing that had fans concerned after the event, as multiple Superstars including Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks were reportedly injured during the show. Another Superstar who created an injury scare among the fans was Daniel Bryan, as the former WWE Champion faltered while walking back to the backstage area after his match got over raising concern over a possible neck injury he may have suffered during the match....

According to a report from SEScoops.com, the Divas Championship will be converted back to the Women’s Championship during the episode of RAW the Monday after WrestleMania 32. The title will be on the line at that event in a Triple Threat match between champion Charlotte and challengers Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. The title was created in 2008 as part of the “brand split” storyline and was unified with the Women’s Championship in 2010....

Owing to the immense drawing power that he possesses, Conor has become one of most sought-after athletes in the world. WWE has always been interested in signing such renowned athletes to send the ticket counters flooding for their biggest annual pay-per-view, Wrestlemania. Stars like Muhammad Ali, Flyod Mayweather Jr., Shaquille O’Neil, Mike Tyson and Ronda Rousey have made appearances in the past at the biggest stage of ’em all. And from what the rumour mills suggest, Conor McGregor might be making a grand appearance at Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando, Florida....

After some criticism received by SmackDown announcer Corey Graves, Ranallo deleted his Twitter account and hasn’t been seen behind the desk since. At last week’s NXT taping, Ranallo was replaced by long-time commentator Tom Phillips, who filled his shoes as best he could. Ranallo was also set to call a handful of matches at Survivor Series considering many NXT talents were taking part in the event. However, that never came to pass....

The Baddest Woman on the Planet returned to WWE TV after she was fined and suspended following her SummerSlam match against Liv Morgan. The previous episode of SmackDown saw her crash Morgan and Shayna Baszler’s contract signing for Clash at the Castle. However, it seems like her villainous antics don’t stop there. During a WWE event in Atlantic City, a video was shared by a fan where Ronda was posing with them after her match....

Vince Russo, however, argued that casual fans would not be interested in the matchup and spoke at length about his issues on the latest “Writing with Russo” episode. Kevin Owens has already teased a potential showdown against Steve Austin as he recently called Texas a ’lame place.’ Additionally, Owens has been using The Stunner as his finisher, and WWE expects it to translate to an on-screen program with Steve Austin....

So, what are the surprises that could happen on WWE SmackDown to get us all geared up and pumped for The Horror Show at Extreme Rules 2020, you ask? So, without further ado, I present 5 surprises that could happen on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown....

SmackDown was host to two first-round matches of the 2019 King of the Ring tournament. As the start of things on Raw the previous night had been under par, the blue brand aimed to up the ante. With Kevin Owens vs. Elias and Andrade vs. Apollo Crews as the confirmed matches, WWE had the talent to deliver. Meanwhile, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston sought revenge on Randy Orton and The Revival following their vicious attack on his friend Xavier Woods....

This week, we will witness four out of the six Superstars take part in singles competition. Jeff Hardy will take on the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan, while the new sensation of the Blue Brand, Mustafa Ali will take on Randy Orton. Who will leave SmackDown Live this week with their heads held high? R-Truth shocked the WWE Universe after he beat Shinsuke Nakamura for the US Title and successfully defended the title against Rusev on the same night....

With the Punjabi Prison match as the focal point, WWE had to put up a solid show to hype the fans for the final PPV before SummerSlam. Opening Segment SmackDown Live kicked off with Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers. The Punjabi prison surrounded the ring and one of the Singh Brothers took to the mic to explain the rules. The Superstars in the match first had to escape from the first structure through one of 4 doors before climbing out of the second structure....

The Miz gloated about his Money in the Bank win from last night and said that Drew didn’t have to worry about beating the WWE Champion because the A-Lister will beat him. Randy Orton was a guest tonight on A Moment of Bliss and Miz was here to challenge him. Miz & Morrison made fun of Drew before he punched them both out and sent them out of the ring....

WWE.com replaced the WrestleMania XXX poster on the WrestleMania XXX page with simply the event logo. The original poster featured CM Punk, along with John Cena, The Undertaker, Mark Henry, Brock Lesnar, Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton 0 votes

According to WrestlingNews, the recent push for Apollo Crews came about after WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was convinced by those backstage to give Crews a push and put him more on TV. The report further states that there has been talk about turning Crews heel in the near future. This is what a source told WrestlingNews: Apollo Crews has got a lot more TV time lately, first defeating MVP, after returning to RAW from SmackDown in April....

Some were skeptical, of course, but it’s likely a wise decision for the Undertaker. He debuted in late 1990 and has reached the age of 55, and his WWE career is well-known about in and out of pro wrestling circles. As such, this means that his Wrestlemania 36 Boneyard Match against AJ Styles was the final one of his career. Another reason some were skeptical is because retirements in pro wrestling hardly stick, but it seems that may actually be it for the Phenom, as WWE officially responded shortly after....
