In case you didn’t know… In the latest WWE NEWS, Undertaker returned to the ring for the first time since November as part of Super ShowDown, whilst Goldberg stepped up to The Deadman in his first bout since WrestleMania 33, but a match that was billed as “the first time ever” between two WWE legends quickly went downhill. Goldberg was knocked out midway through the match when he headbutted the ring post and instead of the match being called off it was allowed to continue and it led to a number of scary moments for both men....

However, as per a statement issued by WWE itself, RAW’s previous announce team will move to SmackDown from this week, as the show moves to the FOX network. Unfortunately, current SmackDown play-by-play announcer Tom Phillips was without a role after the new commentary teams were announced. As per some reports, it was revealed that Phillips will assume the role of a producer backstage. However, Cagesideseats has reported that WWE eventually plans to replace Michael Cole with Tom Phillips on SmackDown:...

WWE Smackdown Results 9th August, 2016: Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan cut a promo The New Face of Fear kicked off SmackDown Live! with Erick Rowan by his side. Wyatt, who lost to Dolph Ziggler last week in a #1 contender match for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, reflected on his defeat to The Showoff and insisted that he didn’t lose to Ziggler last week, instead he blacked out after he went face first into the turnbuckle....

He declares that he wants a rematch with United States Champion Alberto Del Rio after the League of Nations involvement tainted their match on Raw. Predictably, Del Rio turns down his request. The match drew some great response from the wrestling community and it seemed like a farewell match for the Hardys as the two teams embraced after the match. Hardys had defeated Nick and Matt Jackson a few weeks back to capture the gold but now that the title is not with them, the rumours regarding a possible WWE return will grow stronger....

The long-forgotten manager and wrestler system may be having a resurgence. In case you didn’t know In the late 80s and early 90s, there were several managers in the World Wrestling Federation, who would escort their clients to the ring and if needed, interfere in matches on their client’s behalf. Managers such as Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan, Brother Love, ’the Mouth of the South’ Jimmy Hart and Paul Bearer were all iconic managers of the era....

Asuka may possibly be booked in a match against WWE Women’s Champion, Charlotte, at the live events in Japan, which will presumably be a Champion vs Champion match. Asuka will also be a part of WWE’s tour in Honolulu, Hawaii which will take place on June 29th....
