The Stamford-based promotion has kept its global audience on its priority list. The company shifted its video library to NBC Universal’s U.S.-only Peacock streaming service. WWE Network has remained active in international markets to produce content for other countries. Among them, the UK is valued as one of their major targets and they also have their off-shoot of their developmental program in the country called “NXT UK.” With that being said, BT Sport is the official broadcaster for WWE in the UK....

WWE’s ThunderDome kicked off on the Friday before SummerSlam aired. The setup brought back top class production value with pyro, better lighting, and effects. The ThunderDome allows fans to tune in virtually through LED screens set up around the ring. WWE fans seem excited about the prospect of seeing themselves on-screen in the ThunderDome. Last week, KO betrayed the New Day and knocked out Kofi before stepping on his head while holding the championship belt. Kingston said that he thought KO could change but he was wrong. Kofi said if KO wanted a title shot, all he had to do was ask. He offered Owens a match at Money in the Bank and KO came out and accepted the challenge. The two were arguing when Xavier Woods attacked Owens from behind and KO hit a superkick, taking Woods down....

Dolph Ziggler crashed the party to tell us that he had convinced management to let him face Kofi in a two out of three falls count match and if he won, Ziggler would be able to earn a shot at Kofi’s title alongside Samoa Joe at Extreme Rules. He admitted that he signed a multiple-year contract with the company after having “left them in the dust”. Braun Strowman recently re-signed with the company and is now committed to WWE for the next four years. Strowman has inked a four-year deal that would see ‘The Monster Among Men’ take home $1.2 Million per year. It was also added that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson signed a $700,000 per year deal after each initially turned down a $500,000 per year offer....

More often than not, nostalgia goes by the wayside to focus on the current crop of full-time WWE Superstars. According to a report from comicbook.com, it seems as though that may be the case once again this year as it relates to current WWE Universal Champion, Goldberg.
