There is some good news for the fans of Black, as it looks like he is one of the favored Superstars in the books of the management, and could be in line for a major push soon. In case you didn’t know… Aleister Black made his main roster debut as part of a tag team with fellow NXT recruit, Ricochet. The two impressed as a tandem and just when everyone thought we have a new prominent Tag Team in the making, WWE decided to split the two up as part of the SuperStar Shakeup, with Ricochet moving to RAW and Black sent to SmackDown....

What’s the story? It seems like a top NJPW star could soon make his way to WWE. As per Voices of Wrestling, Japanese wrestler SANADA is free agent and could end up in WWE soon. In case you didn’t know… Back in 2016, SANADA made his debut in NJPW, boasting a new look that included a mohawk. The debut saw him interfere in the main event of Invasion Attack 2016 and aid Tetsuya Naito in defeating Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight title....

It certainly lived up to its hype and in the end of an amazing wrestling contest, Sasha Banks emerged victorious. The return of Women’s action in the main-event of RAW clearly portrays the success of ‘Women’s Revolution’ and the match between Charlotte and Sasha may have increased the possibility of more women wrestling matches as main-events. In fact, there are rumors which indicate that the rematch for the championship may be contested inside a Hell in a Cell structure at the upcoming RAW exclusive pay-per-view....

Big E was taking out pancakes from his diaper and throwing it to people; I found myself really hoping they didn’t eat it. Big E announced a Fatal-5-Way to determine Daniel Bryan’s opponent at Royal Rumble. There were going to be a qualifier to determine the fifth opponent. It was Joe vs Hardy. Samoa Joe vs Jeff Hardy Joe started off with a few stiff jabs and a kick to the calves of Hardy....

Becky Lynch said that if she won the Royal Rumble with a bad leg, she could take on anyone. Stephanie said that if she was not medically cleared, then she couldn’t allow her to compete. Becky said that Stephanie was another ‘Daddy’s Girl’ who wanted to stop her from achieving her dream. Stephanie McMahon said that unless she saw the doctor, she wouldn’t just be medically unfit, but she’d be forced to suspend her....

This was the first ever Royal Rumble match to feature 30 participants. This became a tradition of sorts in the following years until 2011, which involved 40 wrestlers. ‘Mr. Perfect’ Curt Hennig lasted the longest in the match for 27 minutes and 58 seconds. Hulk Hogan earned the distinction of eliminating the most number of men in the match. He eliminated 10 wrestlers during the course of this match, a record which lasted till 2001 when Kane went beserk, eliminating 13 participants....

The only WrestleMania matches that seem to be set in stone are Seth Rollins vs Triple H, Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg and Big Show vs Shaq. Other than that, the card is wide open, which is what makes this year’s Royal Rumble so unpredictable. And we’re not just talking about the Rumble match itself. While the Rumble itself has anywhere from 5-10 legitimate possible winners, the rest of the matches on the card could seemingly go either way as well....

The stipulation of “Falls Count Anywhere” is basically a No DQ match where pins can happen anywhere in the arena. Because of that notion, we should expect to see a lot of outside interference from both sides. It won’t be anything new in the feud but it gives the secondary players like Bobby Roode, Dolph Ziggler, the Revival and the Usos an excuse to stick their noses into the fray....

Many stars, like Drew McIntyre, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, and Roman Reigns, have won the Rumble and main evented WrestleMania. But that’s not the case for everyone. Many stars didn’t make it to the main event of WrestleMania despite their victory at Royal Rumble. Their spot was handed over to a bigger star. Here’s a list of the top five WWE Superstars who won the Royal Rumble match, but didn’t get the opportunity to main event WrestleMania....

Page revealed in an interview with ESPN that he is fine with where he is: New Japan star Tetsuya Naito revealed in an interview with Tokyo Sports that he was offered a contract in June 2018 after the Dominion show. He turned down the WWE to focus on his home country. NJPW commentator Chris Charlton provided translations of the interview with Tokyo Sports. Naito feels that he’s already a part of the top promotion in NJPW....

In case you didn’t know… Kevin Owens and Elias got the crowd pumped up before the match with their heel tactics. Owens declared that he wanted the event to be hosted in Canada and not in Australia. Lashley competed for the majority of the match as the heels rained blow upon blow upon the man....

In case you didn’t know… The Universal Championship was last defended at the Greatest Royal Rumble event back in April and the champion Brock Lesnar has not been seen since. Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley have been in a rivalry as of late, and the former ECW Champion has one up on The Big Dog as he was able to pick up a win at Extreme Rules. Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman has agreed to his client putting his Championship on the line at Summerslam, and as of now, Lashley and Reigns will be having a match next week on RAW to determine the new no....

In case you didn’t know… Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are former SmackDown Tag Team Champions but Rowan suffered an injury in their title defence against The New Day back at SummerSlam and a few days later the duo dropped their titles in a no disqualification match on SmackDown Live. Rowan was later evaluated and he is now expected to spend around eight months on the shelf after suffering a torn bicep....

There is a considerable amount of confusion backstage with regards to Brock Lesnar’s Royal Rumble opponent and two massive names have now been ruled out. A former Heavyweight Champion is listed to return as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match. WWE has also chosen three Superstars for a big push and one of them is heavily backed by Vince McMahon. We also have updates about the changes in the RAW announce team, more Superstars moving to NXT and a former Champion’s astonishing request to Vince McMahon....

In October, Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue reported that Punk’s return to WWE was “only a phone call away” and that Vince McMahon “would love” to have the five-time World Champion back in his company. Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda’s Dropkick DiSKussions, Colohue clarified that, even though WWE Backstage is run by FOX, the people behind the show still had a discussion with WWE about using Punk. Colohue added that, almost six years on from Punk’s dramatic January 2014 exit, the bridge between the former WWE Champion and WWE is now “essentially rebuilt”....

In case you didn’t know… Braun Strowman lost his match to Sami Zayn on Monday Night Raw, where the stipulation was that if he lost, he would be replaced by The Underdog from The Underground. Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin took advantage of the fact that the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation meant that there was no disqualification and helped Zayn to take out The Monster Among Men. This doesn’t mean that the men have formed any kind of alliance though, since Zayn was later thrown back to Strowman after the match, and slammed through the announcers’ table....

As revealed by Brad Shepard on the Oh You Didn’t Know wrestling podcast, WWE officials think the hype around Becky Lynch is wearing off and have already planned a big change for the MITB PPV. In case you didn’t know… Becky Lynch’s transformation from the Irish Lasskicker to The Man catapulted her to a monumental double championship win at WrestleMania 35. Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in the first-ever women’s main event at the Show of Shows to complete the long-winded Women’s Revolution....

In case you didn’t know… The WrestleMania Kickoff show will feature Renee Young alongside WWE Hall of Famers Jerry Lawler, Booker T and Shawn Michaels. Initially, there were three matches for the kickoff show that included Austin Aries vs. Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship, Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and the SmackDown Women’s Championship match. The WWE Universe was incensed over the fact that WWE had decided to move the SmackDown Women’s Championship match to the kickoff show to make more time on the main card....

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is talk that Sami Zayn currently has backstage heat on him. During the main event of Raw, Zayn had teamed up with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, as they took on Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Braun Strowman. During that evening backstage, Zayn was seen backstage discussing a plan of attack with Reigns and Rollins. Both men had walked away, and as Meltzer describes, it didn’t do anything to get anybody over....
