It looks like WWE has some major plans planned for the real-life couple of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in the future and they might team up at the next WWE PPV - Extreme Rules. In case you didn’t know… One of the most interesting booking decisions of the show was Baron Corbin choosing Lacey Evans as the special guest referee in his Universal Championship match against Seth Rollins. The match also saw Becky Lynch interfere after Evans low-blowed Rollins and tried to help Corbin pick up the win....

Besides, while the reasons for the aforementioned change in the presentation have been expounded upon; the Wrestling Observer Newsletter also recently noted that the WWE is likely aiming to bring in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for the first SmackDown Live episode on FOX this October 4th. Additionally, FOX officials have reportedly been planning to rope in several celebrities, in order to add to the grandeur of the October 4th premiere of SmackDown Live on FOX....

The experiment has been an overwhelming success. NXT’s rating shot up to 813,000 viewers from 580,000 the week before, when lined up against the World Series. This closed the gap between NXT and AEW to around 9,000. News is now emerging that both the NXT talent and the WWE management are extremely happy with the results of the invasion, in terms of ratings as well as storylines. The late addition of NXT to the Survivor Series brand supremacy concept has resulted in an uptick in ratings, extra coverage of a SmackDown lacking names, and a noted crowd reaction....

It seems that the battle is now going to enter the courtrooms as WWE are reportedly set to stop AEW from using a particular trademark that they own. WWE do not want AEW to use the “Bash at the Beach” trademark, which AEW recently acquired. According to Fightful Select (via ComicBook), people in WWE are unhappy that AEW are using the Bash at the Beach PPV name and they could stop them from using it....

It must be noted that the last two sets of tapings were funded by President Billy Corgan from his own pocket. However, this time around, this has apparently not been the case. The New York Post reported that the funding for Bound For Glory and the tapings was given by an “unidentified third party”. The article stated that TNA have been in talks with WWE and Billy Corgan for the past week or so....

Stephanie McMahon earlier in November even admitted that she would love to get her back, in an interview with TMZ: Ronda Rousey herself had once revealed her intentions to be a Divas Champion. In a sit-down before her fight with Holly Holm last year, she explained her future targets after MMA, and one of them was to be the Divas Champion If Charlotte and Ronda Rousey were to face off, it would likely be in a non-title bout....

Lana’s celebrations were short-lived when Nia Jax interrupted her and drove her through a table for the sixth time in a row. On last night’s episode of WWE RAW, Nia Jax repeated her actions after she beat The Ravishing Russian in a one-on-one match. Last night marked the seventh time Lana was put through a table by Jax on WWE RAW. WWE’s plans for Lana Earlier reports had suggested that Vince McMahon has no heat with Lana for her husband, Miro, signing with AEW....

This week’s edition of SmackDown was taped in Houston, Texas. Alberto Del Rio made his way to the ring and thanked the fans for nothing. He thanked Vickie Gurrero for allowing him to choose his own opponent for the title and nearly chose Ricardo Rodriguez as his challenger. Vickie Gurrero had other plans as she interrupted and introduced a triple threat match to determine the No.1 contender for the World Title at SummerSlam....

Kayla Braxton was conducting the interview and Reigns called her an amateur whose biggest moment was this interview after she asked him if he was scared of Owens. She then asked if Roman was manipulating Uso and Reigns denied, throwing shade at Kayla again and told Heyman to ‘handle it’. Heyman stepped in and started spouting FOX’s ratings for SmackDown since Reigns’ return before Kevin Owens interrupted them. Owens challenged Roman to a title match at TLC or even right then....

Kurt Angle opens RAW RAW GM Kurt Angle opened RAW, announcing two big MITB qualification matches. Braun Strowman’s music hit and the ‘Monster Among Men’ demanded to be put in the MITB match. Kurt agreed, saying that Braun had been on a roll winning the RAW tag-titles and the Greatest Royal Rumble. Kevin Owens’ music hit at this point. KO claimed that he was RAW’s MVP and demanded an opportunity of his own....

WWE removed CM Punk’s picture from the WWE App RAW banner and replaced him with John Cena. AJ Lee’s picture is still on the WWE App’s SmackDown banner. Punk still remains advertised on the WWE Appearances page for the Wizard World Louisville Comic Con in Louisville, Kentucky on March 28th. 0 votes

In case you didn’t know… Rusev won the United States Championship on SmackDown Live last week as part of an episode that was pre-taped ahead of the festive season after weeks of pushing to be taken seriously on the blue brand. Rusev has been a popular star with the WWE Universe all year and finally, he has something to show for all of his hard work alongside Aiden English and Lana throughout 2018, but this could be a short title reign for the Bulgarian Brute if Nakamura gets his wish at The Royal Rumble....

According to Cageside Seats, despite the fact that he’s not been advertised yet, expect Lesnar to show up on the red brand, this week. There’s no mention of what Lesnar may do on RAW. In case you didn’t know… Brock Lesnar did show up on RAW two weeks ago, but refused to step to the ring, until the very end of the three hour show. He reminded Heyman that they were not friends, during the course of the evening....

This, in turn, has set the professional wrestling community abuzz with speculation as to whether or not Ellsworth could appear on SmackDown Live tonight.
