According to the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer (thanks to 411mania for carrying the report), the deal to return to the WWE “had been on the table for a long, long time” and that he (Morrison) wanted to break into mainstream acting before deciding to return to the WWE. A tough decision While Morrison (real name John Hennigan) did star in his own movie Boone the Bounty Hunter, it did not lead him to the acting success that he was probably hoping for....

That may not happen anytime soon but WWE could still use the former World Champion in other interesting situations that are miles away from the ring. As reported by PWInsider, WWE is considering getting CM Punk as a guest on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s ‘The Broken Skull Sessions’ podcast. The WWE Network special’s recent edition had Undertaker on as a guest, and the future WWE Hall of Famer shared many previously unknown stories about his legendary career....

He said: It should be noted that Killer Kross’ girlfriend Scarlett Bordeaux is already with WWE and was recently seen on NXT. Another report stated that Killer Kross went ahead and trademarked his name. At the same time, Kross’ time with Impact Wrestling was met with a lot of controversy....

In case you didn’t know… All Elite Wrestling officially announced earlier this week that the company’s new television show on TNT will premiere on October 2nd at 8pm EST, just two days before SmackDown Live debuts on FOX....

According to Joe Peisich on BarnBurner Radio’s Fired Up podcast, “No Holds Barred”, (H/T Ringside News), Vince McMahon is set to have three important meetings prior to WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. Brad Shephard said that the Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns finish was still up in the air. The podcast further revealed that the three meetings were between, Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar, Vince and Randy Orton, and finally Vince McMahon and Daniel Bryan....

The Alamodome has a seating capacity of about 65,000 and the WWE needs big names on the card to push the ticket sales to the sky. It is now being rumored that WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will be present at the event in some capacity. It is interesting to note that Shawn Michaels won the WWE Championship from Sycho Sid at the same venue twenty years ago, at the Royal Rumble....

The 35-year-old star—real name Rami Sebei—can be heard in a video shared on Twitter calling the fan a “homophobic moron” during a heated ringside exchange during WWE’s live event at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Wrestling fan John Betz, who attended the show, shared footage of the altercation on Twitter. Betz said the drama started when the fan allegedly shouted “Canadian f****t” at Zayn, who is from Laval, Quebec, Canada....

Another big highlight of the show was the return of Mustafa Ali, who suffered a concussion at a WWE live event last month. This occurred just one week before the WWE title Elimination Chamber match, where Ali was expected to be one of the participants inside the chamber.
